It does look familiar..if it is the Langdale Pikes then I also got a shot some years ago. Must look it up.

I was pretty confident with that one.
We are up to The Lakes in 2 weeks time staying not a million miles from that picture.
The Coach House, White Moss, near Grasmere, it was once owned by William Wordsworth, who bought it for his son.
Lovely property, but not cheap.
We always do a circular walk around Grasmere as our first walk on the Sunday.
Can’t wait.

If you have time, take a circuit of Rydal as well.... about another hour and a half but a lovely walk. If you are feeling energetic go up to the cave for some awesome views.

A special one for me this... I had a heart attack and subsequent bypass operation in March 2013, the following September I climbed my first Lakeland Fell since the operation, this view was the reward...
