Thanks for posting then roskie. They bring back memories of getting the train to S'Port, for a walk along the pier.

I have a coin collection, mainly from many years ago when you could find ‘rare’ date coins in your loose change.
That particular coin which is shown is a 1951 penny, which is right at the end of George VI’s reign and didn’t have a high mintage.
Its worth, depending on condition, is between £55 to £150.
My oldest coins which I bought are a set of 1/3 Farthings, 7 coins dating from 1835 to 1902.
They are tiny little things which were minted solely for use in Malta.
That particular coin which is shown is a 1951 penny, which is right at the end of George VI’s reign and didn’t have a high mintage.
