Re: Sweet and sour chicken
Ingredients:
1.5 lb/750g pork fillet (cut from the leg). Other meats can be used.
2 level tablespoons cornflour seasoning
little oil or fat for frying
2-3 canned pineapple rings
4 tablespoons pineapple syrup
2-3 tablsespoons cocktail onoins
2 tablespoons vinegar
0.5 pint/3dl stock or water and 0.5 chicken stock cube
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons sherry
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
Cut the meat into neat 0.5/2cm cubes. Dust with half the cornflour, blended with a little seasoning, and fry in the hot oil/fat until tender. Tip onto a dish and keep hot. Meanwhile chop the pineapple rings and put into a saucepan with the pineapple syrup, onions, vinegar, stock or water and stock cube, blended with the remaining cornflour and the rest of the ingredients. Stir over a low heat until a thickened and smooth sauce. Spoon over the pork (or whatever).
Serve with boiled rice.

Looks?? I haven't posted a picture. Silly man. If you don't like pineapple then omit it. Even if it does spoil it!

My comments were aimed at Lolly's picture and your recipe.
I can't get Lolly's link to open up, they're probably completely different.
As you say leave out the pineapple, yuk !!!!!!! hate the stuff.

I see what you mean. I get the tab but's that all. I did look at it previously and there were far fewer ingredients than in the recipe that I posted.
