Important update regarding Fairy Glen

I am writing to update you that in consultation with The Portfolio Holder for Leisure and the Police I have taken the decision to close Fairy Glen until further notice, following unsafe volumes of visitors and the associated vehicles.

The weekend brought an unprecedented and unsafe volume of visitors and because Fairy Glen is a small area it was impossible for people to adhere to the Governments guidance in relation to social distancing.

The large volume of cars parking nearby also presented a further hazard to the public.

Safety is our highest priority and we will post messages on our website and social media to explain the decision taken but also that we are ready to welcome visitors back when it is once again safe to visit .

we drove past on sunday it was terrible cars and people all over the place, its totally unsafe, glad its closed.

Didn’t even know it existed, just been on the website, looks pretty.
Maybe when this dreadful period is over Me and Mrs RJM will have a trip there.
