Gardening
https://www.theenglishgarden.co.uk/expert-advice/gardeners-tips/spring-gardening-tips/
So how does your garden grow? what are you planting this year? Veg might be a favourite with the cost of living rising. Do you swap your crop with others. I used to end up with
more beetroot than I could pickle. I was never short of greens last year. No one seemed to want my courgettes, cant think why. I grew garlic in pots, and took cuttings of a supermarket
basil plant. I grew spring onions from cuttings Growing Scallions From Cuttings
Cuttings from the green onion, sometimes called scallion or spring onion, resprout and grow quickly in a vase of water. When cutting green onions or scallions for a recipe, leave 1.5 to 2 inches intact on
the white bottom portion. Note the very bottom looks a bit like plant roots; in fact, these are the onion's roots. Place these in a vase or glass of water, enough to cover the roots, and set in a sunny
location. If the water gets murky, dump it and replace with fresh water. In about two weeks, you'll have a fresh batch of fully grown green onions.

Well, I for one have been out in the garden today!
As far as edibles go, apart from an older variety of strawberries, akk I grow are things that are either expensive or difficult to find in the shops. Aunty Joe then turns them into all kinds of things with her "Magic Machine." Things such as cotognata, Chuck Berry (chokeberry) piem, as well as many other things.

Chokeberry similar to Bilberry. Mother in law used to make a nice Bilberry pie. We spent many an afternoon picking them

They do look similar, but the taste is a lot different. They do make great pies though!
