We eat Uncle Ben’s Long Grain and Wild Rice
An excellent source of fibre, folic acid and has no cholesterol, trans fats, or saturated fat.

I will be using Tilda from now on... I REFUSE to support this f$%*ing MADNESS!

Seriously... I usually let this kind of stupidly was over me, but some of the crap that is going on now has me blazing!

I read that because Uncle Ben’s Rice is pre cooked it loses some of its nutrients.
On the plus side it only takes 90 seconds to warm up as opposed to ‘Proper’ wholegrain rice taking 30  minutes of vigorous boiling.

Yon vacuum sealed packs are better

I was told by a pro chef never to freeze rice, yet you can buy frozen rice. I sometimes freeze rice if I've cooked too much.
It's never done me any harm.

I was always tols that you should never reheat rice, probably a source of bacteria,
but I would imagine the freezing process kills any bugs.
