What a lovely day it's been. What have you all been up to? I went for a short walk earlier, Just the right weather for me. Not too cold, but plenty of sunshine. Roast beef for tea.

Re: Happy Autumn equinox
I saw sprouts on sale the other day and will get some when I see them on their stalks, rather than get a few at a time as they keep much longer if the stalk is in water
But desire might/will change my mind

Re: Happy Autumn equinox
I think sprouts are my favourite veg, much prefer them on their stalks.
Enjoy your roast beef Lolly.
We’ve had a local walk this arvo and I am just about to make myself a salad of spinach, rocket, radish and tomatoes on the vine to go with a cheese and onion quiche.
I may risk about 75 ml of Merlot, it usually knocks me out!!!!! LOL

Re: Happy Autumn equinox
Sounds and looks like it tastes awfull !!!!!!!! yuk
I ran out wine last week and resorted to buy the boxed varieties, they were watery, tasteless and lacking in fruit and were around £14 a box.
Thankfully down to my new all-singin’ all dancin’ stainless steel fermentor I am back drinking a nice drop of ‘Spitting Feathers’ Merlot.
My wine generally is not strong, around 10.5% abv, but to this batch I added 600g of sugar, it comes in at a whopping 14.25% abv, lovely.
I’m thinking of investing in a second stainless steel fermentor, I’ll have one for drinking from and one brewing.
I’ll be permanently sozzled!!!!!!!! LOL.
Admin and Lolly you’ll be very welcome to come round LOL!!!!!!

LOL...Low On Liquor..Ray...!!
Nay, lad, we will be around...The vino sounds very good indeed.
Now, Autumn...it is also lovely to me..but I must admit that Spring is the best...a new world emerging....but then each season can be described as wonderful...it depends on ones perception of the world.....
Cheers all.....

I love Autumn Fred.
The heat of Summer gone, the nights drawing in, but still light enough to get an after ‘tea’ walk in.
As you say, Spring is the start of a new year after the darkness of Winter.
Just sat in my favourite spot now, in my leather armchair in the dining room.
Laptop on my knees, TV on, currently watching ‘Edward Scissorhands’, how does he wipe his bottom? LOL !!!!!!!

Ramiejamie:
"currently watching ‘Edward Scissorhands’, how does he wipe his bottom?"
