What do you....
..plan to do this winter?
I plan to do a lot of reading which I have neglected over the past months.
The Great Escape is my first reading priority.
What's your plan?

Saving and hording quiz questions.
Going through old photographs and putting them in albums.
Peeping and posting on Wigan Peers, best site ever.
I would love to read more Fred, but my eyesight isn’t too good.
Mrs RJM is still plodding her way through our Daughter’s Chooky Rooch novel, I will get to read it eventually.
Play my ukulele, I’ve neglected it of late, I need to get back in the groove.
I'm looking forward to the enforced containment that Autumn and Winter bring, sat in my favourite leather armchair in the dining room , laptop on knee, TV on, and later on a few scoops, beltin'.

Re: What do you....
My Winters usually comprise of various mechanical jobs. Fisrt up will be to do a bit of work on Aunty Joes car, then continue with the restoration of my classic. After that, around late January/early February it will be service the garden machinery, the bike, then finally s the Moho. In between all that, theres a new Milling machine that needs to be installed, a lot of guitar practice, as well as planning next years holiday trips. Not that much will be needed there, as this years werent completed for obvious reasons.

Re: What do you....
Uncle Joe, I have REALLY REALLY missed our holidays this year, they are the one thing that makes life worth living.
I’m hoping that next year things will return to normality.

Ramiejamie so do I! They are needed to recharge the batteries.
Of course, our main destination this year was the North of Italy! I doubt that being possible even next year.

Re: What do you....
Uncle Joe, we normally have 4 separate weeks holiday split between Scotland and the Lake District,
In The Lakes we stay at The Coach House at White Moss Grasmere.
Not cheap, but a fabulous get-away-from-it-all property, once owned by William Wordsworth who bought it for his Son.

Re: What do you....
Ramie jamie, we tend to visit different places every year. Last year was Germany twice. The year before was Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria. This year should have been Lago di Braies in the Italian Dolomites, so all we managed was Denmark a couple of weeks ago.
AS was stated, it is difficult to plan things, so our idea this time is to decide on different places, near and far, and see which, if any, are possible.
As it seems members go to different places, perhaps a travel thread could be a good idea?
