Really I never knew that.

There are several places on my list. The present Number One is Lago di Braies, which is inn the Italian Dolomites. That was originally planned for last year, and postponed due to a time shortage, and then again for this year. Again postponed, but for obvious reasons. It would be part of a longer trip that would take in Kassel (Germany) and the Rhine Falls, as well as a couple of other places.

There are several other places as well. Dalslandskanal in Sweden, the Atlantic Road in Norway, as well as the one in the Irish Republic, and even Jersey. Not to mention Poland, where I will be in mind only on Friday and Saturday this week.

I've been to the Christmas Markets in Kassel

Top of my list is to visit the Galapagos Islands, it would be amazing to see the unique wildlife there.

I dont normally travel all that much in Winter, so as yet, I've not been to any of the German Chistmas markets. I have heard that they are very good though. What are your opinions of Kassel?

I only spent two late afternoons there as they were overnight stops on the way to Poland I stayed on the main street close to the Rathaus, I always wanted to return for longer as it seemed interesting

There's lots of nice places to visit in the UK. I like Oban

I haven't been on the Blue Train but I have been in 'Le Train Bleu', Gare de Lyon.

I like Oban too.
