It reminds me of this

I heard a little of it  in the early hours.  Insults and childish behaviour from both sides. You couldn't make out what either were saying. What I did hear from the radio 5 live presenter was that one of the candidates had been diagnosed with early onset dementia. I think it was Biden. There's another 2 of these head to heads to go.

I had heard that. Trump also brought Bindens son into the debate. What that had to do with anything lord only knows. Why were the trump family apart from his wife not wearing masks.

The commission that oversees US presidential debates says it will change the format to ensure the remaining two encounters between Donald Trump and Joe Biden are more orderly.

One new measure could be to cut the microphones if the candidates try to interrupt each other, US media report.

The announcement follows Tuesday's ill-tempered debate that descended into squabbling, bickering and insults.

President Trump's team has already criticised the commission's plans.

I dont think they will be having another debate soon.

When I woke up this morning and listened to the news, and heard that he had tested positive, my first thought was that maybe this is a wake-up call to his followers who think that this is all a hoax.

My second thought was that unless he has symptoms that are a little more severe - and I don't wish that on anyone including him and Melania - he's going to pull out and broadcast to his followers that Covid-19 is nothing to worry about, and even at his age he got through it.

I have been extremely careful and I do take the health situation very seriously. I don't have underlying conditions but I know many people who do. I worry about people who are not, and I think that this will be a wake-up call. But as I said, I think that if [Trump has only a mild case], he will convince his followers that Covid has been blown out of proportion by the media.

I'm very sorry that [Donald and Melania Trump] caught the infection. I hope they do well. But my brother also caught it and he said he's had flus that felt worse. So, I know that it varies quite a bit. But I think that's just the way a virus works - it has to infect a certain number of people before it's going to go away.

I don't think he's underestimated the crisis. I think he's in a position where he has seen people die, but he has a different philosophy, where you push forward. It's an individual decision for each person and I don't think anybody really knows that much about the virus. But it seems like at this point in time we may need to just get on with our lives, protect people who are especially vulnerable.

It's just a reminder that [Covid-19] is not something anyone should take for granted. But you can't be paranoid. It's not like back in April, when a complete shutdown made sense because we didn't know what we were dealing with.

White house staff await covid tests

Medical experts are questioning Donald Trump's decision to greet supporters in a drive-past outside the hospital where he is being treated for Covid-19.

There are concerns the US president, who wore a mask, may have endangered Secret Service staff inside the car.

White House spokesperson Judd Deere said the trip on Sunday had been "cleared by the medical team as safe".

I wonder if he will be charged with a Bleach of the Peace? Or even Domestos Abuse?

The fact that he has been discharged from hospital raises a number of questions for me, none of which can be answered.

I feel the same Uncle Joe. I dont wish this dreadful virus on anyone. Did he have it in the first place I wonder. He's made a miraculous recover for someone of his age. I wish him well, but, I dont think we are being told the full truth.
