A message from Santa Clause

It has come to my attention that children around the world are being told by their older siblings, parents, other adults, and even friends, that Christmas is not coming this year due to the covid pandemic.
This is simply not true.
I have been practicing social distancing just as you have.
No one here at the North Pole has been infected.
All the toys and other presents will be totally disinfected before and after they are wrapped and put into my sleigh for delivery to your home, or to wherever you will be this year.
Do not worry my friends, I will not be spreading the virus nor will I be getting sick from anyone that has it.
Christmas is not cancelled.

“Lockdown may have us all stuck at home once again but that doesn't mean we can't bring you some Christmas fun! Snuggle up on the couch for Frost Fest 2020.

The event will be hosted by radio presenter Chris Milow and is packed full of performances from acts such as The Lancashire Hotspots, Joe Astley, and winners from the Our Town’s Got Talent competition.

We might not be able to bring you a traditional Christmas light switch one but we will be lighting up the borough in our own special way.

The event will be from 7pm - 8.30pm and you can tune in on social media platforms.”
