Yippee - I had a tin of pea and ham soup today and I actually foiund a bit of ham in it.
Nowt like the stuff my mum used to make with thick chunks of sticky ham shank.
Whatever happened to Heinz beef broth?

If you read the labels on the tins, Heinz have better ingredients
Heinz has 25% split green peas and 6% peas Sainsburies £0-95
Baxters has 7% split green peas and 5% peas Sainsburies £1-20
They are very often discounted, that's when we buy them.
