The Winter edition of Borough Life magazine, due out very soon, also features the Support Local campaign. As does the nice cover shot that I took. Lots of my piccies inside too as per usual Smile

The last I knew it cost 18p per copy to produce this magazine and, as of 2018, the population of Wigan was 326,088. So 326,088x 18p= 58,695.84 and that's just for production. God knows how much distribution costs since they claim it's delivered to every household in the borough (ticsmon notwithstanding!). Then they claim to not have any money!

Set of shysters and conmen/women. Put us back in Lancashire!

In one breath you're complaining that all the shops are closing in Wigan, then you're praising the council for promoting "shop local" and "put your money where your town is".

You need to make your minds up!

1.  The Council Magazine.  2.  Heinz Beans.

I'd put up with the Uncle Joes, although they're not as good as they used to be!    Shocked
