Ah! It's become one of those. I hate it when someone links to an article on Twitter and, then, when you go to it it only lets you read a few sentences before it wants you to subscribe. Very angry

I don’t know if this will change anything, but the Wigan papers under the Wigan Today umbrella have just been sold:

JPI Media - owner of The Scotsman, Edinburgh Evening News, Falkirk Herald, and a range of regional papers in England - has been sold for just £10.2 million.

Buyer is National World, new media firm set up by print veteran David Montgomery.

I Know they need the revenue to keep going. But the amount of Ads used drive me mad. The screen jumping up and down. Plus I cant be bothered registering my email as I know I'll get much of the same. I used an ad blocker but was asked to disable it so I could read. MY WIGAN on the MEN site suits me
