Re Gifting

Does anyone re gift their Christmas presents that you don't really need or want. Is it ok, or do you put them in a cupboard and forget them.

Me  and Mrs RMJ have stopped buying each other Christmas pressies, instead she puts some money in our personal bank accounts.
Same with Birthdays too.

At least you get to buy the things you want. My daughter bought me some organic snail gel. I thought it was weird gift, it wasn't till I read the small print that I found out it was anti ageing cream. I cant very well re-gift that.

As you say Lolly, we get to buy stuff we want.
I usually waste mine on CD's and DVD's.

I’d say it’s fine to give an unwanted item to someone else, or charity, or even eBay it.
Just try not to let the original giver find out.

I was recently, October, 2022 gifted some  hand cream clearly gifted as part of a Christmas gift hamper to the person who was gifting it to me. I think it's now of date  . Do I rub out the use by date
and regift it.  Times are hard
