Retro sweets...
Just thinking about my favourite sweets in the 50's and thoughts went to Jamesons Raspberry Ruffles. I found they are still for sale on e-bay.....

Mo, those are things which I had forgotten about.
Spanish was actually liquorice sticks, wasn't it? And Kali is never heard about these days.

Do you know Fred,I still can't fathom out which was which..I meant the black stick,the other stick was woody.

Pardon me for reminiscing.
I remember coming out of Dean Wood with my father and little brother one hot summers day in the fifties. At Abbey lakes, and I was so thirsty. My father bought us some flying saucers which was much the same as Kali and activated our saliva glands. I remember this well.
On sale at e-bay still.....
