Mr Burgon said Labour would be pushing to get votes for 16 and 17-year-olds, as well as EU nationals so they can have their say.

16 and 17 year olds have only ever voted once, in desperation by the SNP to get independence, the may allow 14 and 15 year olds if they get another chance

Edit, and now in Scottish elections to help the SNP remain in charge

And on top of that how many 16 and 17 year olds would get out of bed in time to vote

16 and 17 year olds would also lobby the gov't for free iphones, playstations and games

None, If I remember correctly I knew every thing when I was 16 and realised I knew nowt when I was 18 and got the vote
