Open Exhibition 2023
The Turnpike Gallery is calling for entries to its Open exhibition which will showcase artworks by people living or working in the borough of Wigan. It is open to professionals and amateurs – anyone who makes art! From open submission, works will be chosen by a panel of arts professionals and local people, to bring together a diverse and exciting display.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your artwork, maybe for the first time.
More details: www.theturnpikegallery.org.uk (Partway down the page)
I’m excited to see the exhibition already! I loved the 2018 Open Exhibition hosted by The Old Courts in Wigan: WW Thread.

Re: Open Exhibition 2023
Guess where I’ve been this week?! I loved it!
Truthfully, I dismissed the tent as arty-farty rubbish when I first walked in, but then read that the artist has experienced homelessness, and on closer inspection her hand sewn messages had a massive impact.
It’s a fantastic exhibition with something for everyone and a shame to be missed.
On till Sat 18th March, Tue - Sat, 10am - 4pm.
go, Go, GO!!!
