FAO OY
Is there anything I can use on my doorbell cam to stop it fogging up. There's a kid that runs up to it and breathes on it to fog it up.[
while his mate runs up after to seranade me with not so very nice songs. This has been going on since before Christmas, I've got the local pcso involved as they are now tormenting other neighbours. Only me with a cam though. Also will it harm the cam if I wipe it with a solution of bleach? Ta

Done a bit of googling, Can I use this to clean/kill off any nasties, without damaging the camera lens?

Re: FAO OY
Put some smelling salts in a bottle top with cotton wool glued in, failing that use chloroform and the pcso will eventually turn up and find them asleep

Re: FAO OY
I doubt the actual lens is exposed - it'll probably be just a plastic cover. I'd try a bit of washing up liquid in water to help prvent the fogging. Or as I used to do with swimming goggles - spit

I'm not sure that it has got a plastic coating, I'll have a proper look tomorrow in daylight.

Well after a busy week the pcsos have identified the perpetrators from my pics and paid a visit to their families, hopefully there will be no repetitions. The father of one brought his son to apologise to me, and the lad presented me with a bunch of roses. He looked suitably contrite. The school ties were a dead give away in identifying them They don't call me miss marbles for nowt you know.
