Being 77 years old, waking up every morning
Just like you Admin, at this time of year there is nothing better than to get wrapped up and step out for a walk in the fresh air, we do spend a lot of our time indoors don’t we?
I do envy you where you live, but that said we have nice areas too.
Rivington and Winter Hill, or closer to home Haigh Hall and the Plantations and anywhere along our many canal paths.

We do have some lovely countryside up here, Ray, but then so does Wigan. I particularly loved Dean Wood and Porters Wood as a kid.
Something else that doesn't cost money is good friendship, which Wigan has lots of...............

A one minute walk from home and I hit a path and from there is see the local golf course, the Bow River and the Rocky Mountains. Lots of deer, geese, coyotes, pheasants, skunks, Bobcats etc. Very scenic what ever the season.

I'm in a rural area, but even so, I dont go for walks. I just go out into the garden, sit in what I call my "Tea Shed" and have a nice cup of tea, sometimes something stronger. Great to sit there, watch the wild life, and smell the scent of roses and other flowers. Depending on the time of year of course.
