Sainsbury and maybe others
Only accepting cash. I went earlier and the queue at the cash machine was ridiculous. So I went to Aldi

"Technical issues that affected Sainsbury's in store contactless payments and online delivery services have been resolved after causing chaos for shoppers."

You might be right, just my luck !!!!!!!
Sainsbury’s Leigh is always busy on Sunday, we try to avoid the queues at the tills by going through the self service tills.
I know your not a fan of them Lolly because of them doing away with staff jobs but they are always free of queues and I’ve become a bit of a dab hand at scanning our shopping through them.
Give ‘em a go

There's a nice young man, well not so young employee who seems to be around when I'm shopping. He is more than willing to help. We might be on first name terms soon.

Oh crumbs
Bakery chain Greggs has shut some of its stores due to an issue accepting payments.
Customers found branches of the bakery chain closed or cash only.
It follows card payment outages at Sainsbury's and Tesco on Saturday, and McDonald's last Friday.

Is our reliance on computer systems proving their vulnerability when things go wrong?
It must have cost these companies many thousands of pounds in sales revenue.
A similar thing happens when you do a Windows update, things go to pot.
We do like our computers though don’t we?
