Anyone remember when cutlery..............

I grew up with knives and forks like that.
I suspect they would be electro plated nickel steel as opposed to stainless steel.
Also it must be more expensive to make and fit a separate handle than to make a one piece all steel knife.

We had some like that. I think our Maud checked um when we flitted!

Some like that in the apartment we are in at present. Some new style also.

Mum had some donkeys years ago along with a set of fish knives and forks, and a cheese knife. They went to a charity shop when the house was sold to pay for her care. I wonder why there were never any dessert or soup spoon like this
