Perhaps the French football hooligans are worse than our home grown ones. Still it's our money helping them out

Re: "It's our money"
The French authorities have been quite creative with the U.K. money allocated for border security and prevention of migrants crossing the English Channel. Let’s take a closer look at how they’ve utilized these funds:
High-Tech Surveillance Gear: The French border force invested in cutting-edge surveillance equipment, including binoculars, drones, dash cams, hunting cameras, endoscopes, and specialized software.
Transport: They didn’t shy away from spending on mobility. The funds were used for helicopters, cars, motorbikes, e-scooters, and quad bikes.
Everyday Appliances: Surprisingly, some of the money went toward equipping French police with everyday items like microwaves, vacuum cleaners for cars, and car adapters for charging devices.
Horse Brigade: A portion of the funds, approximately £130,383 (€150,000), was allocated to set up a horse brigade in the baie de Somme. This included purchasing riding boots, helmets, and care for the horses.
Franco-Italian Border: British money also found its way to the division of the French force that polices the Franco-Italian border. They acquired vehicles, printers, and drones for their operations.
It’s intriguing to see how diverse the spending has been, from high-tech gadgets to horse gear and everyday appliances. However, the effectiveness of these investments in curbing migrant crossings remains a topic of debate
As for football fences, it seems that British money has been put to use in unexpected places. Perhaps they’re reinforcing the goalposts or ensuring that no one scores an “illegal entry” during a match!
The French authorities’ spending choices are certainly interesting!
