How long do they have to wait for fracking to recommence after a quake?

The opening post link it states "Activity will now be halted for 18 hours"

Apparently there are earthquakes happening regularly...just never reported.

Surely fracking stopped on Friday for the bank holiday? If there was no fracking activity, would there still be quakes?

Not everybody has bank holidays, I didn't

How come there's no fracking down South..

Maybe it's all to do with geology maureen.

What gets me is this...

Fracking is method of extracting oil and gas from the earth. In the USA they do this on a widespread basis and therefore provide very cheap oil and gas to residents. Now when they drill for oil and gas in the usual way, they must leave a large 'hole in the ground' where the product was. How is this different from fracking?

People are quick to get on the bandwagon and our government is slow to offer us a cheaper product....go figure.

Makes me annoyed, to put it politely.
