He’s in the display cabinet at the back - that’s my best pic of him.

Yes, a snig is a small eel.
When I were just wee bairn, me grandad would take me fishing and one day, he caught a snig.(From't cut)
When we got home, he showed me how to skin it and the cook it in butter and milk. Absolutely delicious....I always thought it tasted like mushrooms....Yum...Bless Him...
