They do admit to disruption though, Naughty Mitten, so if you’re the sender I’d stick to 1st class for now.

My daughter posted a small letter parcel with two face masks in that she had made for me{bless] It was collected at 4.30 pm Tue from her local post office 250 miles away and pushed through my letter box the following day Wed at 10.30am. I'd call that a first class service.

I ordered a AAA battery holder on a Sunday, it was posted on the Monday the day after and it was delivered the following Monday

I had some money credited to my account 3 weeks ago which I wasnt sure where it had come from. Or even why I was being given it. I got the letter on Sat informing me of the transaction , letter dated 5th April.
