Kidney Soup

Apparently this can of Kidney soup is as old as I am. Canned 46 years ago. Do they still make it?

Someone donated a tin of soup to a food bank that's so old Heinz stopped making it 35 years ago … The rusty can was at least 46-years-old (Oct 2017)

It’s nearly 50 years since decimalisation - Decimal Day was 15th Feb 1971.

There might be doubt of date but it’s definitely past its best be thrown date.

The Museum of Wigan Life had a tin of soup in that was from the Second World War.
(Let’s hope they’ve used the lockdowns to sort out their stock).

My mum kept a catering can of Heinz tomato soup for years, and I mean years, in her store cupboard.
On day when she was out I opened it and had the lot. She was a little mad as she said she was saving it
for a a rainy day. I believe it was raining that day.
