Is it at Haigh

No, it’s closer to the town centre, Lolly.

Hmm. The girl and the windmill made me think of Haigh. Back to the drawing board

Is that an angel in the top window?

I don’t know its history, but Kensington House is now part of the Medical Education Centre on Wigan Lane.

WW&L Trust appointed FWP to provide design and management services for the proposed state of the art office and training facility for medical education purposes on a constrained site adjacent to the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary in Wigan.

An innovative solution was required to amalgamate two detached Victorian buildings, the client brief demanded a novel solution for the wholesale refurbishment and extension of the buildings.

The scheme includes the construction of a lightweight glazed atrium linking the various lecture, conference and training rooms. A contemporary and modern interior design scheme complements this innovative conversion of a pair of listed properties.
