I know just the building you mean Nordic, it had a curved frontage on the corner. It was an orphanage if I remember correctly. There is a photograph somewhere on WW.

Here you go... and it seems you are right Nordic because that picture is titled Royal George Lodging house, but it does not look like the originals posters picture.

Cadfael , me too , saw lodging house and went off at a tangent , thanks for the photo's anyway . Royal George ( I know we arn't talking about it ) , later I think , was taken over by the Salvation Army , but as often than not , I could be wrong again !!!!!!!!
