For the shops opening tomorrow

Me and Mrs RJM will not change our current routine much which has kept us safe this last 12 months.
We stay in all morning, I sleep or do housework.
We have a local 30 minutes plus walk in the afternoon, but we are likely to venture up to Rivington from Monday onwards.
We come home and ‘pull up the drawbridge’ and stay in all night’
As the days warm up I may do a local ‘after tea’ walk in the evening.
We do a ‘big shop’ midweek and a small mini shop at the weekend, and that’s our routine.
We may get some days out in the car during Summer, but not where there are crowds.

reopens today - and there has been huge public demand for its outdoor tables!

A long queue of shoppers has formed outside Primark in Nottingham early this morning, as non-essential shops reopened for the first time in months.

The queue from the shop on Long Row stretched to the Old Market Square.

Some shoppers have said they woke up at 5:00 to beat the crowds.

None essential shops? people queueing for stuff they don't need

Been to Wigan market this morning , not many more people knocking about
Galleries and market , but Primark and barbers thats a different story ,queues
were very long with not much social distancing , heard a chap telling a stakeholder in market he's left his wife
at Primary as the queue was unbelievable , coming home on bus the barbers facing the old Victoria hotel
queue was trailing towards northwest station

i'll give it two weeks before i'll venture out to the barbers or shops

Are the swimming pools open yet?

I think so, I dont fancy going when folk are spitting water out , and even worse having a pee

So you won't be practicing synchronised swimming in the nak just yet

certainly not

After seeing the crowds outside shops, pubs etc, I have to ask, how many of those younger people have had their jab?

Did anyone queue up for their first pint just after midnight . It appears that some did. Who wants to sit in the freezing cold to do that?

Wonder if things will be quieter today, and will Primark still have stock:roll:

i heard a couple of pubs were shut coz of fighting

They've months of trouble to catch up on

I wonder if pubs will take a booking for just a couple or will they have to take 4 friends with them?
