Emergency Alerts Service
Planned for Tuesday 22 June 2021
Across the UK
Mobile phone networks are testing emergency alerts on behalf of the UK Government between 1pm - 2pm.
You may get a test alert.
Your device may make a loud siren-like sound.
The alert will say:
This is a mobile network operator test of the Emergency Alerts service. You do not need to take any action. To find out more, search for gov.uk/alerts
* Take no action *
Do not panic.

I was alerted to a low tyre pressure on my car while driving, Nearly jumped out of my skin

The power went out at home this morning. I received a text from Welfare Company or something tell me that there was 'an electricity cut (No lights or power from the wall sockets)..'
I received the message when the power came back on as my mobile runs from a router which was off for a couple of hours.
