Are they making a comeback?

Abba are officially on their way back, with the band teasing a new project coming very soon.

It’s been a whopping 39 years since the band – Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad – released music so safe to say we’re all in need of a comeback as soon as possible.

Rumours have been circulating for a good couple of years, but now we’ve got our first snippet of confirmation.

On their website and social channels, they’ve teased the launch of ‘Abba Voyage’.

So what is ABBA Voyage? It is a revolutionary concert that blends the physical and the digital worlds - the concert that ABBA have always wanted to give their fans.

It will feature their classic hits, as well as new music taken from 'Voyage', the band's first studio album in 40 years, which is released on 5th November.

Those two singles haven’t grabbed me as much as I’d hoped so far.

I’d rather see them sing as themselves as they are now.

As the radio presenter said this morning they [the songs]are growers. I think they screamed Abba, I quite enjoyed them.

As for them appearing as themselves I suppose they are thinking in terms of keeping up their image of 40 years ago.

Agnetha Fältskog, the blonde one, is a very private person, and I think the group would probably have reunited long ago

if she had agreed to it.

Possibly, I’m glad they’re back together.

I’m always moved to see boy bands like Take That still sing together - the remaining members anyway. It feels like we’ve all grown older together. The ABBA simulations don’t quite convey real people to me.

I never knew that Anni- Frid became a princess. Princess Anni-Frid, Dowager Countess of Plauen.

Following Prince Heinrich's death, Frida is titled her Serene Highness.

Now, she enjoys a more civilised lifestyle in Zermatt, Switzerland, with her boyfriend, Henry Smith, 5th Viscount Hambleden, a descendant of the WHSmith founder.

Just a Notion,   which was originally recorded  in 1978 by ABBA , is to be finally released shortly to the world in a contemporary form    ..Friday,  October 22 ...2021 ... it is  the third single from the new Voyage album by ABBA after their long  absence from the world of almost 40 years   .the new 10 track album is out November 5th
