On a hill , possibly Scholes ares , maybe Hardibutts looking back towards town to the right . scratch scratch scratch It's raining there too.

At first it looked like Stan Scholes..but there is a Steven Scholes who's paintings are very similar.

I've just seen the very painting on Google,and it is Steven Scholes..his paintings are brilliant..and I've never heard of him.

Okay... the title of this painting is 'Going Home - Haywood'... are you sure it IS Wigan?

Not now Cad. There are a couple of similar paintings of his The roofs and chimneys, and The corner shop.
