A cat was the mayor of an Alaskan town Talkeetna for 19 years until his death in 2017.
The richest cat in the world had £7 million. The cat inherited the money when his owner died in 1998 and left a good portion of his fortune to his beloved pet.

Beautiful creatures!
We have a stunning Abyssinian cat living near us that once got into our house and our dog just followed dutifully behind whilst the cat took a tour of the downstairs.
