Explore is Flickr's way of showcasing the most interesting photos within a given point in time -- usually over a 24 hour period. Flickr receives about 6,000 uploads every minute -- That's about 8.6 million photos a day! They choose 500 a day for Explore!

Belated anniversary wishes to you and Mrs OY. The Midland is an impressive hotel, wasn't like that a few years back, it was in a sorry state. Poirot  "Double Sin "  was filmed there, as was "The Entertainer"  starring Laurence Olivier. Congrats on the Explore award
