Market Square bus station

Me, (long scruffy haircut) and David Abbott in approx 65 drinking milk out of the machine on the bus station in our dinner hour from Thommy Linacre school. A bloke came up and asked could he take a picture of us both, so we thought "Fame at last" the next thing there is an article in one of the daily papers , I don't think it was the 'Wigan Observer' but it may have been. There was also a picture of a milkman delivering his goods with a horse and cart, with some smart remark by the reporter. I look back with immense joy of those days in Wigan even though I was a 'Kewyed' from Owfen.
Hells bells were have those 57 years gone.?

I'm talking about the original Thomas Linacre built around 1950 ish, the one on the left hand side as your going west down Parsons Walk. The original and BEST.

Admin went to Wigan Grammar School, 1957 and was a Grammar Grub, not a Linacre Lout..ha..............
