Three favourites from my postcard collection.
All 'Oilette' postcards by Raphael Tuck, dating back to the Edwardian era.

1) Market Place, looking down Standishgate.

2) King Street, outside the old town hall.

Wonderful set Micktrick. It's strange not seeing Woolworths on the first pic. It looks very busy at the top of King Street, I wonder if they are waiting for something to happen. They all look fairly affluent going by the way they are dressed.

A couple more cards.
Not from my own collection this time, but from here - a great resource containing books, documents, music, and video, all in the public domain, which can be downloaded without charge:-

Those are great, Mickrick!

And I couldn’t help but notice the V-plate in postcard 3) which was once a mystery: Thread Very Happy
