Apropos Of Nothing . . .

Apropos of nothing . . . other than I might be starting to lose it . . .  

I was just about to spray air freshener into a baking bowl of self raising flour, when the thought occurred to me "where have I put the ****** suet?"
It was in the cupboard under the sink, where the air freshener should have been.
Anyone else guilty of similar slip  ups?

Or, I tried to make money out of this one.

Today I invented something new,and first thing on Monday morning I shall be contacting the Pfizer drug company to inform them of my find. Drug companies are always looking for cures for various ailments and I have found one that really clears the old sinuses. Simply put one tea bag a spoon of sugar,some coffee mate and some washing up liquid in a cup and pour on boiling water.cool slightly then take a large mouthfull. Should you have the urge to spit it out,keep your nerve and swallow the lot. I can see the ££££ sign now.

I called it Snotalot.

I rang the drugs company and explained about my new invention,they seemed really interested.

After a somewhat long conversation the asked me how long it had been since I last saw a doctor. I explained that it had been an age as I usually treated myself with household stuff from my kitchen cabinet,no need to worry the doc. Any way they are sending someone round to see me. When I asked if they would be carrying identification (you can't be too carefull these days)they said not to worry I would instantly recognize them as they would all be wearing white coats
