I don't think it's an Isherwood or a Major..I recognize the face but am buggered if I can put a name to it.

He has - it's a painting local artist Laura Quinn presented him with when he came to Wigan for his Star Award on Believe Square.

Just had a look at her work..I do portraits,but hers are excellent.

Worth popping into the Museum when it’s possible - Sir Ian kindly donated the portrait.

Fred,as I said it's mostly portraits that I paint but if I see a nice scene I have to have a go..on WW Dec 3rd 1917 photo a day,fat Mick was having a moan about me being mentioned saying we never see any of her paintings so Ron put my painting of this scene on..if you want to have a toot.
