The relationship between the Tripe Marketing Board and the studios of 20th Century Spatchcock was little understood until Dr Ripley’s seminal work.

Between 1921 and 1999, 20th Century Spatchcock made over 20,000 films in their Hollinwood, Oldham studios. Most have been lost or destroyed – sometimes accidentally.

TMB ‘disappointed’ at cancellation of 2020 World Comedy Food Awards

The Awards, which were due to take place in Stuttgart in October, have previously seen tripe notch up a creditable second position …

“Obviously, we’re saddened by the news. Everyone knows that tripe is an inherently very funny food, and we expected to oust from their top slot this year,” Sir Norman Wrassle said. (Link)

Oh dear, one of the semi finals is to be re run after 2 contestants pulled out.

“I am pleased to say that both Phoebe and Milo have agreed to voluntarily remove themselves from the contest to protect the reputation of the TMB. Accusations had been made that the contest was being rigged or otherwise influenced by a Middle Eastern betting syndicate and this does not reflect well on tripe,” Sir Norman said.

Just as an aside..that little peepee is just like my Gizzy.

The are hand-selected for their skills, knowledge and family connections, as well as for their love of tripe. Board members are unpaid. Sir Norman Wrassle is the charismatic and sometimes outspoken chairman of the Tripe Marketing Board, the UK’s leading agency for the promotion of tripe.

After leaving school at the age of 16, he began selling pickled cucumbers from a stall on Wigan market. At the age of 18 he was seriously injured when he fell off the back of a lorry, but made a full recovery and is now not only a highly respected businessman but considered to be one of the leading experts on tripe in the whole of the north of England.

He is never happier than when called upon to talk tripe at conferences, society meetings or on the radio, which he has always seen as the perfect medium for tripe.
