The one thing that I remember was my daughter coming over when she was only eight years old, from Canada. I came over a week later and she was thrilled to show me the cooperative. She just read it as it was. I had to explian that it was called the co-operative, and to this day we still have a laugh about it.

Such pride in their work....Bless 'em all.....

Fred,there was a family just further down our Street that we understood their name was Heinz,it most likely is the same one..but I've no idea where they are now.

Admin where is that , could they be the stands at Central Park to the left and the big sliding gates to let you out , and that's the "Dougie"??????

Could be, nordic, the 'duggie' does tend to flood at times, so I hear.

Unión Bridge early 1900s, the rail started Norley quarry, up to near three sisters.. the bridge was demolished many years ago.
