Re: Pik a Wik...
One from Admin today.
Floating down a river in Northern Thailand on bamboo raft. The lad steered with a bamboo pole for about a couple of miles and then the raft was dismantled and taken back to the launching place. While I sat there with sandals on and my feet covered with an inch of water, a small snake swam across the river, over the raft, right past my feet and away.

Are you sure? A couple that I sent have not been posted. Having said that, they probably werent good enough, so its no problem. I'd like to see this thread continue. Always good to see photos.

I agree with UJ, it's good to see folk's photos on here, especially OYs which are truly professional.
I wish I could contribute but posting photos on here has proved problematic in the past.

Just sent two new ones. Could only remember one of the others I sent previously, and it was not all that interesting anyway.

Depending on which one the first one is, there is another taken from the same spot looking in another direction that could be interesting. They really need to be posted either together or sequentially though.

Re: Pik a Wik...
Thanks for posting the photos.
A bit of info about them. Both were taken when standing at the top of a roughly 10 000 foot mountain in July, 2018. Probably the only time in my life that I will ascend to such a height.
The first one felt a bit special, having my head at cloud level, and looking down over lower mountains into the valley below.
In the other, it did seem a bit odd to look at a helicopter that was at the same altitude head on. 10 000 feet is the legl limit which an aircraft can be operted without the crew using oxygen.
As may be guessed, that trip, which took in 5 different countries, was unforgettable!
