I love the 1/3 land to 2/3 sky split.
The lone tree and rugged landscape stand out against the brooding atmospheric sky, just brilliant OY.

Two words came to mind when I saw the photo for the first time. They were White Sands. Not sure if anyone will understand why though.

There is a White Sands that is far more famous, or is it infamous. The site of the Trinity project. The result of that changed the world forever.

White Sands, New Mexico.

"Trinity was the code name of the first detonation of a nuclear weapon, conducted by the United States Army at 5:29 a.m. MWT on July 16, 1945, as part of the Manhattan Project."

This photo is the start of the bridge between Denmark and Sweden, taken approaching the start of it in Denmark

It is. From the Toll Booths, which are only on the Swedish side, the road rises up over the bridge. At very roughly th halfway mark, it descends again to enter a tunnel.

Its a nice piece if engineering, but unfortunately flawed. Lighting in the tunnel is far below par, and the actual bridge iften has either restrictions, or is closed due to the Scandinavian weather. Its possible to download an app that informs of the problems. People would be surprised as to how often they occur.
